I have had the blog for almost 8 months and can safely say I still have no idea what I am doing. I am not sure I will ever have a grasp on this, I’m not sure I have a grasp on how to do anything on any social media platform…but that fact that I am still here and still writing for a mostly non-existent audience is for me a win.
You see, I start a lot of things, new books, stories on wattpad…but a lot of it never has staying power. My wattpad story ended after 6 installments when nobody was reading…I have at least a dozen unfinished manuscripts and struggling to finish yet another, all because I can’t see the payoff yet, because I didn’t capture an audience after 6,000 words….because I don’t believe in my writing…
But I am here still…my last blogpost garnered all of 3 views…but I’m still here, and for that I am proud. Realistically I may never get an audience, but this blog has always been about emptying my thoughts, sharing pieces of my writing, so maybe there is no audience out there for that, or maybe I just don’t know how to market myself…but I am trying to learn and trying to get better…Lets see what the next 10 posts bring…
