He sat at the computer tapping the keys with a fury, the words dancing and singing to a beautiful symphony. This is the story he’d longed to write, this was his soul…this story would change the lives of people… He smiled as he typed the two words he’d been itching to write for the last 3 years…The end.. And then hit publish…
…He began to re-read his masterpiece. Word by word, everything he believed in. The symphony soared to new unbelievable heights, and then a single sour note, a missed beat, a crashing and scraping of ungodly sounds…as he read the words he saw it for what it was crap. He had spent three years of his life only to write nothing…the voice was flat, the grammer awful and the message?! The message was non-existent!!!
He cried in anger.
He yelled in shame.
He wished to delete it, but knew it was impossible.
He went to bed that night feeling every bit the failure, wishing his talent would once match his expectations…wishing for once he would change somebody’s life…
Miles away, unknown to him a young woman reads his words, she sits at the computer her eyes soaking it all in. She starts to cry, she couldn’t believe what she was reading, a story…a simple story, but it felt like it was written for her. Every word resonanting deep…she loved it, she wanted him to know but he had left no way to reach him.
She carried his story with her in her heart for the rest of her life.
He spent the rest of his trying to write his masterpiece.
